Who is responsible

What we collect

For the early-access list, we collect your email address, affirmative consent and its timestamp, plus any optional topic or idea you choose to share. For product feedback, we collect your message and source page; we only include your email address if you ask us to contact you about that feedback.

The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to screen submissions for abuse. Our website hosting and spam protection providers may process technical request information under their own applicable policies.

Why we use it

We use your early-access information to maintain a list and, with your consent, send BudgetIF testing and launch updates. We use voluntary feedback to improve the product and reply only if you request follow-up. We do not sell your details or connect them to a YNAB account.

Where it is handled

Early-access contacts and their preferences are held by Resend, our email service provider. Feedback is delivered through Resend to our project inbox rather than stored in a separate application database. The website runs on Vercel; human verification uses Cloudflare Turnstile. BudgetIF does not send your browser-only sample budget to these services.

Retention and your choices

We retain early-access registrations for the duration of the early-access programme, unless you withdraw consent or request deletion sooner. We review feedback and remove it from our inbox when it is no longer needed for product development. You can request access or deletion, and withdraw from updates, using the contact below. Marketing emails will include unsubscribe options when sending begins.
